The moisture of the grass in the morning on a faraway property, the aroma that fills the room when coffee reaches first crack in the roaster, the sepulchral silence of a green-coffee warehouse.
How can we talk about the barista’s agile hands and concentration, followed by a smile when they offer a unique coffee to a guest?
How can we describe the sweet smell that hangs in the air when the coffee blossom arrives, beautifully coloring the farm with white?
These moments can even be shared in texts, articles, and podcasts, but there is a unique and exclusive delight that is had by living these experiences. It is for this reason that COFFEA Trips, COFFEA Podcast’s sister company, was born. Our mission is to bring coffee knowledge and stories to life with urban and rural trips. We want to share real content, with feet on the ground: The hand close to the roaster, the smile that is caused by the first sip from the nearest cup.
COFFEA Trips invites you to live a caffeinated adventure and learn about this universe in a totally different way. We want to be a bridge between everyday coffee and the people who grow, harvest, roast, and prepare your special moments. Our mission is to connect all of the important personalities and actors in the coffee world both on the farm and in the city with our fully immersive quests.
We believe that every detail count. We are not a “company,” we are a collective of passionate coffee professionals who want to rethink everything in the coffee industry, including the marketplace in these challenging times. We believe in empowering people to make socially positive and environmentally friendly decisions.
We don’t see the people we visit—farmers, cafés, or roasters—to be merely “suppliers. They are our partners. This endeavor—your visit—allows them to diversify their business and earn more money, while you learn more and develop a human connection to the work and the people involved in coffee.
COFFEA Trips is not a charity organization. We aim to professionalize coffee tourism to show the work, personality, and passion that goes into the drink we love—but we respect and honor that work and passion. We do not patronize it.
If coffee is just an excuse for a socioeconomic and cultural revolution, let’s start ours together!
